    Цель урока: развитие лексических и коммуникативных навыков по теме «Еда».

    Задачи урока:

    • Образовательные:
    • развивать лексические навыки по теме «Еда»;
    • развивать диалогическую речь;
    • информировать о здоровом питании как об одном
      из аспектов здорового образа жизни;
    • формировать у учащихся потребности изучения
      иностранного языка для овладения им как
      средством общения.
    • Развивающие:
    • развивать коммуникативную компетенцию, включая
      умения взаимодействовать с окружающими;
    • Развивать внимание, память, речь;
    • развивать учебно-организационные умения
      (самостоятельная работа).
    • Воспитательные:
    • способствовать развитию эмоциональной сферы
      личности учащихся;
    • воспитывать стремление к совершенствованию
      речевой культуры;
    • прививать интерес к изучению языка посредством
      игрового момента;
    • воспитывать умение работать в парах, группах.
    • Практические:
    • расширить словарный запас учащихся;
    • развивать умение общаться на иностранном языке.

     

    УУД:

    • Личностные: формирование ответственного отношения к учению, готовности к саморазвитию и самообразованию, формирование коммуникативной компетентности в общении и сотрудничестве со сверстниками.
    • Регулятивные: осуществление регулятивных действий самонаблюдения, самоконтроля, самооценки в процессе коммуникативной деятельности на иностранном языке.
    • Познавательные: освоение ознакомительного, поискового чтения; освоение нового аудитивного материала; освоение нового лексического материала.
    • Коммуникативные: формулировка собственного мнения и позиции, способность аргументировать и координировать её с позициями партнёров в совместной деятельности; умение задавать и отвечать на вопросы; адекватно использовать речевые средства для решения различных коммуникативных задач.

    Методы: развития у учащихся умений монологической речи по теме «Нealth and Food» до уровня развернутого монологического высказывания. Формирование умения самовыражения на английском языке на основе лексико-грамматического оформления речевого высказывания.

    -Hello!

    -How are you?

    -What did we speak about at the previous lessons? -You are right, about food.

    -Look at the screen.  What do you see in the picture? What can you say about this man? Why is he fat?

    -What do you think we’ll speak about? — You are right.

    -At this lesson we are going to continue working at our topic “Food”, but the main thing we are going to discuss today is “Healthy Eating”.

    -Do you know how to eat healthily?

    -Today at our lesson we’ll discuss problems of healthy eating, you will learn how to eat well in order to be healthy.

    -You will do some exercises, practice in reading and speaking and by the end of the lesson you will do the project “Healthy breakfast”.

    -And now say the topic of our lesson.

    -Right you are, the topic of our lesson is ‘Healthy  Eating”.

    -There are lots of products today that are unhealthy and harmful to us. At the lesson we’ll study in details how to eat healthily. This is the main task of our lesson.

The first group, you should find the pictures with healthy food – 8 pictures. The second group, you should find the pictures with unhealthy food – 9 pictures. Two students from each group, come here! Your task is to read it attentively and to find out, why the products are healthy and unhealthy.  Fill in the table and give a short report on your topics. You have 2-3 minutes.

    The food groups

     

    1) Food gives us energy, makes us grow and helps to stay healthy. We need to eat something from all the food groups every day. Fruit and vegetables, cereals and grains, fats and sugar, meat and protein and dairy (молочные продукты).

      2) Fruit and vegetables give us lots of vitamins and minerals and help us grow and stay healthy. We should eat five portions of fruit and vegetables every day. A portion is one piece of fruit, a serving  (блюдо) of vegetables or a glass of juice.

     

    3) Cereals and grains are things like bread, rice, potatoes and noodles. These foods give us the energy we need. Half of what we eat every day should come from this group.

     

    4) Fats and sugars are things like oils, biscuits, sweets, chocolate and ice cream. These foods give us energy and are important for our nervous system. But too much of this food can make you fat and can be bad for your teeth. You should not eat more than two sweet or fatty things a day.

    5) Meats and proteins are foods like chicken, fish, duck, eggs, nuts, beans and tofu. These foods give us important minerals and help us to build and repair our bodies. We need to eat a little of this food every day (about 10% of our food).

    6) Dairy foods are things like milk, yoghurt and cheese. These foods give us calcium (кальций) which helps to make our teeth and bones strong. You should eat some of these foods every day.

    Unhealthy food

     

    Unfortunately, very often unhealthy food is tasty, cheap and we buy it again and again. A lot of food products contain ingredients that are useless or even destructive for health.

     

    The most dangerous for health is so-called “junk food”:  For example, drinks, such as Cola and Pepsi contain no natural ingredients, and a lot of artificial chemicals – sweeteners. They are like drugs – the more you drink, the more you want. They are bad for our teeth.

    As for chips and other ready-made snacks, they are made not of natural potatoes. Moreover, they are fried in a low-grade oil.  That’s why all these snacks cause heartburn and gastritis.

    All sausage products and hamburgers contain very little meat and much animal fat, soya,  and skin. They cause obesity.

    White bread, pasta, biscuits contain nothing good for health. Sometimes we have stomachache.

    So, if you want to be healthy, pay attention to what you eat. If you like sweets, choose natural ones – honey, dried fruits, or, at least, natural bitter chocolate.
